There is NOTHING wrong with this template. We don't want anything "too" fancy.

Users want a nice looking website with fast loading images, readable content and so on.

Quote
Structure

Is the our site layout easy to understand?
Can others navigate readily from page to page?
Is there an intuitive feel for the visitor?
Easy to get back to Home page or the top of a page?
    Is the loading time excessive?

Graphics

    Are graphics clear and attractive?
Do graphics contribute to the purpose of the page?
    Are graphics excessive or distracting?
    Do graphics contribute to understanding?
Will graphics contribute to excessive loading time?
Do graphics help the visitor with navigation?

Use of Colour

Are colours attractive and appealing to most visitors?
Do too many colours contribute to messy look?
Would more colour aid (help) the visitor in understanding the content?

Content

Is the content of interest and value to the visitor?
Does the content attract more visitors?
Has the content been kept current?
    Are there copyright violations?
Is the content in good taste?
Has our content been cleared i.e. legal considerations?

Readability

Are the pages easy for the visitor to read?
Do the page elements follow a logical sequence?
Are type fonts readable, attractive and properly sized?
Will our pages look good with various browsers?

Page Layout

Is there a good use of "white space"?
Do the graphics add to or detract from readability?
Are elements sized and arranged to fit within browser window?

Hyper links

What links would enhance the purpose of our site?
Do you want to lead visitors away from our site?
How many links really contribute to the purpose of our site?
Are our links easy for the visitor to spot?

And Animorph, fix the Login link.

I like the design, but what I mean is, it's easier with dark images, they take less energy on the screen, and you can read for a longer time without killing your eyes.

And also a more smooth and sleek design is what I would mean, rounded edges and such.
Not advanced, just nice and simple, I think the current is too simple and too light

With rounded edges, all you have to do is add some code into your CSS:

Code
-moz-border-radius:5px;-webkit-border-radius:5px; etc...

Perhaps its your resolutions, I'm not sure, but just give me an example of whats bothering you smile

P.S. I'm not being a smart ass (although its sounds like it), we just want really good feedback, and that's what you're doing! up

Some other suggestions are that we add all finished scripts and codes in the download module.
And add graphics there too, so I can make graphics with PSD's and such and add them there, as well templates.

New forum icons (quote, new thread and such).

Spliff, what I mean is that dark uses less energy. period.
And too much light (as too much white), gives you headache quicker and your eyes get tired quicker too.

I can also say like this:
It's easier to concentrate on light (white) text, rather than concentrating on dark (black).

But Acid, there's a catch to it. 99% per cent of users are jubilant to white backgrounds (preferably bright) and black text.

But change template to be more Web 2.0.
With rounded edges and such.

And I do recommend theme switcher.

AND, use br_nonew.gif and br_new.gif instead of just icons, it is annoying to not see if there's new post, since the stats refresh slowly.
I could do some animated ones for ya.

uCause have Facebook Page for news and updates. But, why uCause not have Twitter account? If you update some interest posting in Twitter, world can read your post, and uCause can have many readers and members. Could develop.
